About Dr. Minocha
Dr. Minocha currently serves as Professor of Medicine, Director, Division of Digestive Diseases and program Director for GI fellowship program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
He is board certified in the fields of gastroenterology, internal medicine, geriatrics as well as a Physician Nutrition Specialist. In addition, he is fellowship trained in clinical pharmacology and medical toxicology. Dr. Minocha is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and American College of Gastroenterology.
In addition to writing six books including, “How To Stop Heartburn”, “Encyclopedia of Digestive System and Digestive Disorders” and “Handbook of Digestive Diseases”, he has authored or co-authored over 80 publications in scientific literature.
Recognized internationally as an expert on digestive diseases, he has lectured to health care providers as well as lay public on numerous occasions, both in US and abroad. In addition to his appearances on television and radio as an expert, he has been quoted in many magazines and periodicals at national and regional level.
